Definition of the DARC Contest Data Exchange Format STF

This is a non-mandatory annex, a listing of recommended abbreviations for contest category values to be entered in the Category header field. This list is not meant to be complete. For these abbreviations widely used shortcuts were selected. A couple of contest sponsors specify their own classes, e.g. denoted explicitely by numbers or letters. The contest rules will always have priority, the current abbreviations are only recommendations. For Single Mode and Single Band entries it is recommended to extend the category specification with the respective Mode or Band values.
