Das Berlin-Diplom

Dieses Diplom wird vom Distrikt Berlin im Deutschen Amateur-Radio-Club e.V. herausgegeben. Für diese Auszeichnung zählen alle Kontakte mit Berliner Stationen ab dem 03.10.1990. Das Diplom kann von allen lizenzierten Funkamateuren und SWLs beantragt werden, die 100 Punkte durch Kontakte mit Stationen aus mindestens 20 DARC- und VFDB-Ortsverbänden in Berlin erarbeitet haben. DX-Stationen außerhalb Europas benötigen 50 Punkte. Jede Verbindung zählt ein Punkt, Clubstationen zwei Punkte. Jede Station kann nur einmal gewertet werden. Es gibt keine Band- oder Betriebsartenbeschränkung. Als Joker mit drei Punkten können Funkverbindungen mit Stationen in Städten gewertet werden, die ebenfalls "Berlin" heißen.

Das Diplom ist als "Wende-Diplom" auch zweiseitig bedruckt. Auf der einen Seite ist das Brandenburger Tor bei Nacht und auf der anderen Seite die Wappen aller Berliner Stadtteile abgebildet.

Beide Seiten mit dem Diplom-Text, eine Seite deutsch, eine Seite englisch. Das Diplom hat das Format 32 × 22,5 cm und wurde auf der DARC-Hauptversammlung im Mai 1991 anerkannt.

Der Diplomantrag wird mit einer geprüften Aufstellung vorhandener QSL-Karten (GCR-Liste) und mit der Diplomgebühr von 6,- € oder 6,- US-$ an folgende Anschrift geschickt:

Berlin - Award

This award is issued by the Berlin District of Deutscher Amateur-Radio-Club e.V. (DARC) Berlin amateur radio operators worked on October 3rd 1990 and later count towards this award. Applications may be submitted by an licensed amateur radio operator and shortwave listener, who can show 100 points obtained by contacting stations in at least 20 DARC and VFDB locals in Berlin. DX-Stations outside Europe need 50 points. Each QSO counts one point, clubstations count two points. Each Berlin station will be counted only once. There are no limitations as to band or operating mode. QSOs with stations in cities also named "Berlin", will be accepted as "jokers" and count three points each.

Applications should be confirmed extractes log-statement (no QSLs !!) and fee of 6,- € or 6,- US-$ and should be adressed to

Being a "turncoat" item, the award is printed on both sides, showing the Brandenburger Gate at night on the one side and the coats of arms of all Berlin districts on the other, with the award text in German on the one side and in English on the other. The award was recognized at May 1991 DARC general assembly.
