On this site you will find information on design and construction EH antennas.  These antenna are small compared with the typical dipole antennas.  There is an 80M antenna which is constructed out of 2" PVC pipe and it is approximately 6 foot long.  There are also three 20M antennas all under 2 feet long. 

These antenna can be built for less than $ 10 each.  You can build one in the afternoon and have it on the air tonight.  For the size they work very good.  They will allow hams that have antenna restrictions or other restrictions to get back on the low frequency bands again.  Also on the site is information for you to design you own EH antenna and some information to help you build it.  Because they are small and expensive to built it has allowed many of us to get back to experimenting with antennas. 

This is the first EH antenna I built.  The 80M 6 foot EH.  I'm holding onto the mounting PVC pipe.  The antenna consists of the 2 - 30" cylinders and the coils.
