One membership - many advantages! The DARC e.V. is the largest association of German radio amateurs. Around 33,000 members have joined our association and are supported in the pursuit of their hobby by many volunteer members and their own office.

Amateur radio - a radio service with personal perspectives, a hobby that combines technology and communication with sport in a unique way, offers a variety of incentives for young and old alike.

Even in the age of the Internet and cell phones, amateur radio has lost none of its fascination; on the contrary, many of these new technologies can be combined with our hobby and in some areas it is impossible to imagine life without them - in short, an earth-spanning, communicative hobby with vision.

The DARC e.V. represents the interests of German radio amateurs at national and international level. The basis for our hobby is the protection of frequencies, only a strong association can stand up for this and represent the interests of its members and all radio amateurs.
