Mit minimalem Aufwand (2,5 OPs, K2, Butternut, Dipol, 20-m-Groundplane) haben wir die Fahne von Sachsen-Anhalt hochgehalten. Vieles ist noch zu verbessern. Größtes Problem war der fehlende Notebookstrom. Der Wechselrichter fand nach 10 Stunden Betrieb die Spannung zu dürftig und hat uns angepfiffen. Nun musste ich alle zwei Stunden das Notebook wechseln: Log kopieren, Schnittstellen umkonfigurieren und das verbrauchte Notebook zu Hause aufladen. Irgendwie war das in der Theorie anders. Eine Morsetaste hatten wir nicht dabei. Wer braucht schon sowas. Ansonsten: Sonne zum Ende, Regen genau zum Aufbau, viele erfreuliche QSOs und Multis auf 10,15 und 20. Aber auch viele dürftige Stunden. Wir sind relativ zufrieden.

Unser zweitbestes Ergebnis im CW-Teil des FD ï¿½berhaupt; aber wir werden unseren dritten Platz vom letzten Jahr nicht halten kï¿½nnen: Zu starke Konkurrenz aus der oberen Klasse drï¿½ngt herein..... Wie immer war der FD ein Top-Ereignis in unserem OV C01. Auch wenn wir nur zwei OPs waren, so ist es doch eindeutig eine Anstrengung des ganzen OV, die viel Teamgeist erfordert und schafft. Toll, dass 10m und 15m ï¿½ber lï¿½ngere Strecken spot-light Ausbreitungsbedingungen bescherte. Grauenhaft war das (Gewitter-)Krachen auf 160 und 80, das die beiden Bï¿½nder ï¿½ber viele Stunden praktisch unbrauchbar machte. Da wir es trotzdem versuchten, befï¿½rchten wir nicht unerhebliche Punktabzï¿½ge... .

Pünklich zum Aufbau hat es auch angefangen zu regnen und erst wieder aufgehört als alles aufgebaut war. Wir waren alle nass bis auf die Knochen. Die Ausbreitungsbedingungen waren auch sehr durchwachsen. Trotzdem hat es wieder viel Spaß gemacht. AWDH zum SSB-Teil!

Dieser FD war eine neue Erfahrung mit neuem QTH, mit einer sehr guten Untersützung durch meine YL und einem sehr netten Kollegen aus dem QRL Gefunkt habe ich allein mit einer effektiven Zeit von ca. 20h. Es ist sehr schade, dass man in DL in der non-assisted Klasse keine Einmann- Wertung durchführt. Im nächsten Jahr werde ich wohl wieder dabei sein.

A return to NFD for G3BJ after 10 years. Not a good start - software problems with port drivers delayed us at the start. Incessant rain and gusting winds made it uncomfortable,and the antenna broke at 06.00 To crown it all , the generator failed 75 minutes before the end But it was fun - and we will do better next year

Field Day wouldn't be the same if everything went smoothly, but this year was as close as it gets. The weather was kind to us for during set up after a dire forecast. Just one wee problem with the remote ATU power supply radiating all over 160m and 80m, which was easy to solve, and we were away. Heavy static rain came in overnight and caused about 3 hours of misery on the LF bands, but otherwise the generator, equipment and antenna worked well throughout. Even a little activity on 15m and 10m this year.

Good 10m Conditions made up for a rather mediocre performance on 160m this year. Many changes. All change in the computers, software and acilliary hardware. Only rig and antenna/ATU the same. Terrible weather towards the end of setting uo the station and then the antennas were not working right so had to leave them as we were all wet thru, came back Saturday to more rain, in the end had to compromise with the 40m antenna as the rotary dipole refused to act like an antenna, we then had trouble with both 40 and 80m , but even after all these problems we still had loads of fun and for out first /P outing we did not do too bad.

Pünktlich zum Aufbaubeginn begann es zu regnen und nun macht e sich unser vereinfachtes Aufbauprinzip bezahlt. Einigerma ssen trocken, relaxt und pünktlich konnten wir den Contest s tarten. Zu Contestbeginn sorgte das verwendete Logprogramm für emotionale Diskussionen zwischen den Ops. Die Ansichten schienen unvereinbar, doch dann wurde sich verständigt, die F-Tasten wurden so programmiert, das jeder zufrieden war. M it voller Konzentration konnte das Vorjahresergebnis um 20% verbessert werden. Die condx waren mäßig, aber mit unserer Doppelzepp klappte es ganz gut. Die Stimmung war Dank der Gr illkunst und der Verstärkung aus der Braun'schen Röhre wiede r hervorragend. Danke auch an die vorbeischauenden Besucher , die trotz Regen sich nicht scheuten uns zu motivieren. De r CW FD 2009 war wieder eine runde Sache, die einige OMs im OV motivierten sich mal wieder mit Funkbetrieb zu beschäftig en. awdh in 2010 de Contesteam O47 (DF7DJ, DL1AXX, DL5YAD, DJ9IE, DL1DAW)

We did our traditional Field Day at our traditional location on an island in the Thames between Weybridge and Walton and we had our traditional set of problems. A brand new K3 was put on the air for the first time and it worked well with networked WinTest and two pico-ATX PCs plus a laptop. Our attempt to use a newly designed remotely switched antenna tuner for our 2x40m doublet became a grand fiasco and we ended up using the club's trusted old manually switched tuner which in turn resulted in traditional RF in the shack and we lost in all 3 hours and had to operate with reduced power. We seem to have missed most 10m openings if there were any but we ended up with close to 900 qsos which probably is an all-time record for the club. It rained when we set up, it poured down during the night and it rained again when we took down but it wasn't as bad as it sounds. Great fun as usual, many lessons re-learned as usual - we hope to get another opportunity to learn the lessons again next year.

Mein erster CW-Fieldday, mein erster Fieldday als Singel OP, mein erster Contest mit neuem K3.
Dafür das alles neu war lief es sehr gut, strömender Regen beim Aufbau, WLAN für Clusteranbindung (und Webcam) zu 90% ausgefallen.
Bedingungen auf 10m waren dürftig, die anderen Bänder liefen überraschend gut.
Station: Elecraft K3-10 , 160m Dipol 16m hoch, 80/40m Doppeldipol 18m hoch, 3Band Trippleleg für 10-20m 6m über Grund, ein kleines 600W Aggi sorgte für den Strom (10l Benzin in 20h, das sind 5 Cent/QSO...hi) das ganze auf dem Sieglitzberg in JO50TK 730m üNN

Hat keinen Fieldday im OV gegeben, also von Zuhause aus gefunkt und im Trockenen gesessen!
Ein paar Punkte mussten einfach verteilt werden.

Mein 20m langer Draht hat wenigstens ein bischen mitgespielt (er hängt ja auch so ca. 6 m üeber Grund.....).
10m und 15m gingen mit dem Draht gar nicht (wie immer). 20-80m waren soweit OK. Und auch auf 160m ein paar QSO. Was will man mehr.

Die Beteiligung der /p-Stationen hätte vielleicht besser sein können oder ich habe sie einfach nicht gehört ;-).

Hab in diesem Jahr von einer Hütte im Zillertal gefunkt um ein paar Punkte aus OE anzubieten. Ein kleines Aggregat (alle 1,5h ca. 2l nachtanken) lieferte den Strom. Mit SQ-vertical von Walter Spieth konnte ich auf 20, 40 und 80 ganze 42(!) QSOs absolvieren.

Im nächsten CW-FD Contest bin ich dann "richtig" dabei... :-)

Pünktlich zum Fieldday Aufbau fing es an zu regnen hi.PKW war voll Material und Verpflegung,wegen des Regens konnte nichts ausgelagert werden und das Material wurde hin und her geschoben.Der Aufbau der neu gebauten GP für 20m viel damit ins Wasser.(48 Radials).Nach Montage der Antennen wurde erstmal die nasse Hose ausgezogen und die Heizung im Auto voll aufgedreht.Trotzdem ufb Contest, die Bänder ruhig ohne local QRM.Papierlog für 200 QSO`s vorbereitet hat nicht gereicht hi. Wir hatten das Glück, bei trockenem Wetter aufbauen zu dürfen. Als es naß wurde, stand der Antennenwald schon in der Apfelplantage. Eine Woche zuvor hatte sich herausgestellt, daß das OV-eigene Aggregat spinnt, und so hatten wir uns ein Aggregat geborgt.
In der Nacht um 3 ging dann plötzlich der Strom aus. Bei der Fehlersuche haben wir uns nasse Füße geholt. Es stellte sich heraus, daß der Schutzschalter angesprochen hatte, weil Öl fehlte, das von der 5km entfernten Tankstelle geholt werden mußte. So büßten wir eine ganze Stunde ein.
Trotzdem: dank Steigerung bei den Multis gab es neuen OV-Punkterekord. Die Hauptsache - allen hat's Spaß gemacht.

Every year the same story at our location on 950m ASL hill….strong wind or rain. This year we had bad luck and had both together. At the end of weekend, nice sunshine, but sill wind cca 50-70 km/h. Even bad WX conditions, we made our best score in FD CW in LP assisted kat.. We ended at 1300+ QSO-s and 720+ kPTS.
Anyhow, we had a fun.

Antennenaufbau wurde bereits Freitag, 24h vor Contestbeginn aufgrund der WX-Vorhersagen begonnen, daher bei bestem Wetter,
Samstag Dauerregen , Sonntag zum Abbau wieder trockenes Wetter ... also Glück gehabt.
Bedingungen waren recht ordentlich, zeigt sich auch in den getätigten QSOs über die Bänder.
Antennen, Quad, L-Antenne und 80m-Schleife haben seeehr gut gespielt. Investitionen in
Drehkurbelmast für die Quad sowie Spiderbeammaste für 80m-Schleife haben sich auch
in der Aufbaugeschwindigkeit positiv ausgewirkt.
An Verpflegung hat es an nichts gefehlt. Chili con carne ... mit viel "Musik" in der Nacht :-) ...,
frisch Gegrilltes, Frühstück mit Ei und Speck, Nussecken, Nusszopf lassen einfach keinen Wunsch übrig.
Zu loben ist die sehr gute Zusammenarbeit des Teams während des ganzen Fielddays !!!

Fazit: Insgesamt sehr gelungen mit einem recht guten Ergebnis.

Zum Contestbeginn begann erst der Aufbau. Aber diesmal mit großem Shak (Transporter).Ziel waren 120 OS0`s. Am Ende 208 QSO´s. Also ein guter Contest,hat viel Spass gemacht.Wer noch nie so einen Fieldday in freier Natur mitgemacht hat der hat etwas verpasst.Das kann man einfach nicht beschreiben, allein, mit 5Watt out,einfachen Dipolen,sauberen Frequenzen,und Natur pur, was will man mehr.Ein ufb Contest mit vielen schönen Verbindungen, so macht Amateurfunk Spass!73 de Roland DL5ANS/p

What is a UBN file?

A UBN file lists entries of your log for which you do not get points, and gives detailed explanation. It lists unique callsigns, bad (= against rules) entries and "not in log" entries, therefore the name UBN.

Which password?

When you submitted your log you got a reply of the log robot including a user name and a password to access your UBN file. If you lost your password, ask the contest manager to send your UBN file to you directly.

Was ist eine UBN-Datei?
