SSTV-AD, Slow-Scan-Television-Activity Award

The German Amateur Radio Club e.V. (DARC) has sponsored the "Slow Scan Television Activity Diploma" (SSTV-AD) in support of the SSTV operating mode. It can be applied for by all licensed radio amateurs, all club stations and, upon appropriate conditions, also by receptionists.

1. The diploma is awarded for:
EU-SSTV D3 25 points
EU-SSTV-D2 50 points
EU-SSTV-D3 75 points
EU-SSTV-Trophy 100 points

2. Each KW-QSO counts 1 point, each FM QSO counts two points.

3. Each station may be listed once on KW and once on VHF.

4. There are SSTV two-way links on all SSTV approved frequencies. The operating mode SSTV must be entered on the QSL cards. QSL cards are valid from 01st January 1980.

5. QSOs during the DARC SSTV Contest can be used as confirmations when the logs of the stations concerned have been submitted. The confirmations can not be submitted before the contest results are published and must be requested within one year of the contest.

 6. The fee for each diploma is 7,00 EUR for the paper version including shipping. The fee for the Trophy is 25,00 EURO for shipping to DL and 30,00 EUR for shipping abroad.
